On-Campus AEDs

What is an AED?

An automatic external defibrillator (AED) is a device that delivers an electric shock to stabilize a person's heart rhythm. It can be used in conjunction with CPR to help stabilize someone experiencing cardiac arrest before the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel arrive.

Call Security dispatch at (808) 675-3911 or the Health Center at (808) 675-3510 if you are unable to locate an AED. Contact Campus Safety if you come across an AED that is not operational at (808) 675-3281 or (808) 675-3411.
