HNL Info: How to Set Up to Receive Disaster Alerts
About HNL Info
The City and County of Honolulu uses this application to send out important public service information to Oahu residents and visitors. You can use it to be warned immediately about flooding, earthquakes/tsunamis, hurricanes, and other disasters as they happen.
How to Install for Disaster Alerts
- Download the HNL Info app on your phone.
- Once installed, open the app.
- Tap the top left menu button, this will open the menu sidebar.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select Weather & Disaster and any other categories that you want to be regularly notified about (to minimize notifications to your phone, select only Weather & Disaster).
